My Top iOS Apps

  1. Calc – Free – A simple tape calculator. I use this instead of the stock calculator because it has a backspace and the tape.
  2. Convertr – $1.99 – Convertr will delight and surprise you with its level of polish and ease of use. It’s designed for fast, efficient, and visual unit conversion. Has a matching android version so I can have the same UI on other devices.
  3. CardStar – Free –  LIGHTEN YOUR WALLET and move your plastic loyalty cards, reward cards and membership cards to your phone so you never miss out on a reward, discount, or deal again. Just hand the cashier your phone and they can usually scan it or type the numbers in.

  8. Waze social GPS & traffic – Free – When you download Waze, you not only get a free traffic & navigation app, but also become part of the local driving community in your area, joining forces with other drivers nearby to outsmart traffic, save time, and improve everyone’s daily commute!
  9. NetNewsWire Premium – $4.99 – NetNewsWire is an RSS reader for iPhone — you can read news from the millions of weblogs and sites that publish RSS feeds. Because NetNewsWire syncs with Google Reader (Google account required) — and with NetNewsWire for Macintosh and FeedDemon for Windows by NewsGator — if you read an item on your iPhone, you don’t have to read it again your Macintosh or other computer. It’s automatically marked as read everywhere. There are some free RSS readers out there including a free version of NetNewsWire but when you have a 3 inch screen who has room for ads?
